Former President Donald Trump on Saturday was acquitted in his second impeachment trial.
Seven Republicans joined with Democrats to vote 57-43 to convict him. However, a two-thirds majority was required.
Trump may now face legal pressure through the court system over the insurrection at the Capitol last month, according to The Associated Press. He's currently facing investigations in Georgia and New York over allegations of a pressure campaign on state election officials and hush-money payments, respectively.
