True Value could be sold for $800M

True Value Co. is considering a sale valuing the company at $800 million, people familiar with the matter told Bloomberg.

The Chicago-based home-improvement store chain is reportedly working with an investment bank to assess options.

True Value posted 2016 revenue of $1.51 billion, a 1.1 percent increase.
