A group of trucking companies are planning a $1.9 billion battery plant in the Memphis area.
Cummins, Daimler Truck and Paccar each would own 30% of the venture, with technology partner EVE Energy owning the remainder.
The facility just across the Mississippi border from Memphis is slated for completion in 2027.
