Mexican truck drivers protested for a second day on Tuesday at the U.S. border.
Mexico's government issued a statement that it "rejects" inspections imposed by Texas Gov. Greg Abbott. The governor last week ordered officials to conduct vehicle safety inspections at entry ports to uncover smuggling of people and contraband.
The result has been snarled traffic and warnings of supply chain disruptions, according to Reuters.

Mexico allows its citizens to cross the border wherever they want and does nothing to stop it. So the rejection shouldn't surprise anyone. More power to Greg Abbott. Texas is lucky to have a governor who wants to protect them and the laws of the USA.
