Tropical Liqueurs' STL liquor license revoked

Tropical Liqueurs, a bar chain known for its frozen alcoholic drinks, is slated to lose its liquor license at its St. Louis location.

The Excise Division of the city of St. Louis' Department of Public Safety on Thursday cancelled the liquor license for the bar, operated by Enhanced Spirits LLC, effective April 9. The decision was brought on following complaints by neighborhood residents of loitering, littering and crime near the bar.

Tropical Liqueurs also operates bars in Springfield and Columbia.
