Tropical Liqueurs expanding to St. Louis

Columbia-based Tropical Liqueurs is expanding to St. Louis, according to the St. Louis Business Journal.

The frozen cocktail bar currently has two locations in Columbia and one location in Springfield, all owned and operated by Alan Dodds.

Dodds told the St. Louis Business Journal while nothing is final yet, a group from St. Louis wants to open the first franchise with the company.

The investors have applied for a liquor license for the location, the St. Louis Business Journal reports, and the franchisees want to open the location by next spring.
