The Navajo Nation Council voted down plans for a tram, hotel and riverside boardwalk in the Grand Canyon.
During a special session yesterday in Window Rock, Arizona, the council voted 16-2 against the legislation.
Developers had planned a tram, hotel and retail at the East Rim of the canyon by May 2021.
