Tri-Lakes Eye Center

Ridgedale-based Metro Design & Construction Inc. is the general contractor for Dr. Tom Morrison’s Tri-Lakes Eye Center. With an estimated construction cost of $1.8 million, the project comprises 7,800 square feet for the eye center, plus a 4,400-square-foot surgery center and 3,400 square feet of parking space on the lower level. George LaRock, owner of Metro Design & Construction Inc., said that the facility is scheduled to open in mid-August. The surgery center will have two operating rooms and 12 pre-op beds, LaRock said. Medical Planning Inc. of Ohio is the architect for the project, which has a brick-and-stone exterior.
