Travelers emerge in time for Thanksgiving

Millions of Americans are hitting the road for the Thanksgiving holiday.

Auto club AAA predicts 48.3 million people will travel at least 50 miles from home. That's an increase of nearly 4 million from last year, despite higher gas prices this year.

The number of air travelers is expected to approach or even exceed pre-pandemic levels.
