The amendments call for:
• An upgrade of guardrails at the Interstate 44 and U.S. Highway 65 interchange;
• Maintenance and an upgrade of I-44 striping;
• Changes to the funding sources, reflecting two federal earmarks received for the I-44 and Chestnut Expressway interchange project; and
• A study in Battlefield to review access along State Highway M from State Highway FF to Wilson’s Creek.
To be eligible for federal funds, projects must be included in the Transportation Improvement Program. After the public comment period ends June 19, the Metropolitan Planning Organization board of directors will consider the amendments at noon that day at the Busch Municipal Building, 840 Boonville Ave.
