Posted online
Ozarks Transportation Organization is searching for a new executive director, as Dan Rudge has vacated the position for a job at the Virginia Department of Rail and Public Transportation.

Rudge, who is from Virginia, came to OTO in December 2002, left in June 2004 and returned in June 2005, according to OTO Senior Planner Sara Edwards. His last day at OTO was Oct. 19.

He will begin Nov. 5 as manager of strategic planning for the Virginia department, according to Courtney Ware, DRPT manager of policy and communication.

Edwards is filling in as director while OTO conducts a search for Rudge’s replacement.

The director will be responsible for implementing the annual Unified Planning Work Program and developing an independent Metropolitan Planning Organization over the next three to five years. The position’s semi-monthly salary will range between $2,415 and $3,541.

Applications are accepted until Dec. 7. The job description is available at www.ozarkstransportation.org.[[In-content Ad]]
