Toys R Us plans to sell or close all of its 800 U.S. stores, The Washington Post reports.
The move would affect as many as 33,000 jobs as the company winds down operations after 70 years.
The decision comes six months after the toy store chain filed for bankruptcy. The company also announced Wednesday it would close all 100 of its U.K. stores.
The U.S. closures are not slated to occur all at one time, a source familiar with the matter told The Washington Post.
