Toys R Us is preparing to liquidate its bankrupt U.S. operations, sources familiar with the matter told Bloomberg.
The move would come after the company failed to find a buyer or reach a debt restructuring deal with lenders.
The toy chain secured a $3.1 billion loan to keep stores afloat during the holidays, but sales results were worse than expected.
