The founder of Toys R Us died yesterday in Manhattan. Charles Lazarus was 94.
His death shortly follows the collapse of his toy store chain that launched in 1957 in the Maryland suburbs.
Lazarus stepped down as CEO in 1994 and as chairman four years later.
