Toyota to recall 140K trucks over air bag defect

Toyota Motor Corp. said Thursday it will recall around 140,000 2014 Tundra pickup trucks mainly in North America because their air bags might malfunction.

About 130,000 of the affected vehicles are in the U.S., though no accidents or injuries in connection with the issue have been reported, according to the Japan Times.

The automaker said an incorrectly installed part could partially obstruct side curtain air bags in the trucks.
