Toyota recalls 744K Siennas in the US

Toyota announced yesterday a U.S. safety recall of some 744,000 model year 2011-2016 Sienna vehicles.

The problem is with the vehicle's sliding door. If its opening operation is impeded, the door's motor circuit can overload and open the fuse for the motor. That could lead to the door opening while driving.

Known Sienna owners will be notified by mid-January.
