The Tour de France has been postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic.
French President Emmanuel Macron yesterday announced all public events with large crowds would be canceled until at least mid-July. The bicycle race was scheduled to start June 27.
The event has now been moved back to Aug. 29. It's scheduled to run through Sept. 20.
The Tour de France previously was called off during both world wars.
