Twelve Missourians are recognized Sept. 29 in Jefferson City at the 14th annual Missourian Awards. Recipients on hand are, from left, Springfield-Greene County Park Board Director Jodie Adams, St. Louis psychiatrist Dr. David Ohlms, Joplin Area Chamber of Commerce President Rob O’Brian III, retired surgeon Dr. Charles Bentlage, Oxford HealthCare President Karen R. Thomas, City Utilities General Manager John Twitty, SBJ Publishing President Dianne Elizabeth Osis, AT&T Missouri President Cynthia Brinkley, Walsworth Publishing Co. CEO Don Walsworth and CoxHealth internist Dr. Loren Broaddus. Also honored were the late Ted Wetterau, former president of food distribution company Wetterau Inc., and retired Detroit Tool Cos. executive John T. Russell.
