The public face of Chicago music festival Lollapalooza has exited.
C3 Presents, the operator of the festival, confirmed Charlie Jones — one of the Cs in C3 — left the company "to pursue other interests." C3 was purchased a couple of years ago by Live Nation.
Another of the Cs, Charlie Walker, said it's "important to note that Lollapalooza is greater than three guys named Charlie."
The Chicago Park District received $5.7 million from last year's festival, making it “the district’s highest revenue generating event."
