Tonight’s Art Walk nabs two more venues

Two new art galleries have joined tonight’s First Friday Art Walk, bringing the venue total to 15.

The Creamery Arts Center, 411 Sherman Parkway, and the Holland Gallery, in Robberson Alley north of Park Central East, have signed on for the free exhibition tour through downtown Springfield.

From 7–10 p.m., local and regional artists will display their works in exhibits including blown glass, photography, ceramics, paintings, drawings and sculptures.

Other participating venues are: Good Girl Art, Hawthorn Gallery, Keyes Gallery, MSU Art & Design Gallery, MSU Student Exhibition Center, Mudhouse, Park Central Gallery, Randy Bacon Photography Studio & Gallery, Springfield Hot Glass Studio, Springfield Pottery, Studio 405, Walnut Street Gallery and Well Fed Head Books.

First Friday Art Walk is a program of the Springfield Regional Arts Council. The next three events will be Nov. 4, Dec. 2 and Jan. 6.
