Toll collection is slated to stop at the Lake of the Ozarks Community Bridge.
The Community Bridge Transportation Development District anticipates that by April 30, adequate funds will be generated to pay all outstanding mortgage bonds and other liabilities. The state of Missouri then would take ownership of the bridge.
The bridge, which opened to traffic in 1998, connects the east and west sides of Lakes of the Ozarks near the 16-mile marker of the main channel, according to KOMU.
