The estate of "Lord of the Rings" author J. R. R. Tolkien has put the brakes to a cryptocurrency named after him.
JRR Token launched in August with the tagline, “The One Token That Rules Them All." It even came with a video endorsement from Billy Boyd, the actor who played Pippin in the films.
The Tolkien estate took action via the World Intellectual Property Organization’s arbitration procedure.
