Toblerone changes its iconic shape

Fans of Toblerone were shocked after the distance between the triangular chucks in their favorite chocolate bar expanded overnight

Candy producer Mondelez International said the change was needed because of rising ingredient prices.

The company kept the bar's original packaging and length but reduced the amount of chocolate. The price remains the same, but customers get about 10 percent less chocolate per bar.
