Springfield-based TLG Peterbilt has expanded its footprint through an acquisition.
The company, which also does business as The Larson Group, closed Nov. 17 on the purchase of Performance Peterbilt, according to a news release. The financial terms of the deal were not disclosed in the release.
TLG Peterbilt, which has its corporate office at 4350 S. National Ave., added eight Peterbilt dealerships in Georgia, Florida and Mississippi through the acquisition. The Springfield-based company now has 34 commercial truck dealerships in Missouri and 10 other states.
“We’re thrilled to welcome the Performance Peterbilt team and their customers into the TLG family,” said Glenn Larson, TLG Peterbilt president and CEO, in the release. “Both our companies are built on a foundation of strong relationships and customer support. This acquisition strengthens our ability to serve truck owners and fleets with a broader reach and deeper resources – without losing the values that drive our success.”
The Performance Peterbilt locations are transitioning to the TLG Peterbilt name through the acquisition.
