A Titanic survivor's letter that was written aboard the ship has sold at auction for $399,000.
U.K. auction house Henry Aldridge and Son handled the listing for the letter written by Col. Archibald Gracie to his great-uncle. Gracie was among those rescued.
In the letter, Gracie reportedly wrote, “It is a fine ship but I shall await my journey’s end before I pass judgment on her.”
