The parcel, acquired for about $1 million, is adjacent to Holiday Hills Resort, a 422-unit timeshare resort with an 18-hole regulation golf course, also owned by Silverleaf.
The land can accommodate up to 456 timeshare units and related amenities, including a proposed nine-hole, par-three golf course expansion to the existing course at Holiday Hills.
“Holiday Hills is one of our fastest growing resorts, so this is a significant opportunity to expand our capacity to provide attractive vacation alternatives to our customers in this key destination vacation market,” said Sharon K. Brayfield, president of Silverleaf, in a news release.
Property development is subject to Silverleaf receiving all state and local government approvals necessary for timeshare operations.
Silverleaf also owns and operates Ozark Mountain Resort in Kimberling City along Table Rock Lake, as well as 12 timeshare resorts in various stages of development in Georgia, Florida, Texas, Massachusetts and Illinois.[[In-content Ad]]
