Time names Greta Thunberg Person of the Year

Time magazine announced Wednesday it named climate change activist Greta Thunberg its 2019 Person of the Year.

It's the first time the magazine has named a teenager Person of the Year. Thunberg, 16, now hold the record for the youngest person, a position previously held by 25-year-old Charles Lindbergh in 1927.

Finalists included President Donald Trump, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, the anonymous whistleblower behind the impeachment proceedings and pro-democracy protestors in Hong Kong.
