TikTok owner ByteDance has filed suit against a former intern seeking $1.1 million in damages, according to multiple media reports.
The lawsuit against Tian Keyu alleges he deliberately tampered with code for an artificial intelligence training project.
ByteDance also is seeking a public apology.
