Due, in part, to higher demand for its fashion and designer jewelry in Japan, Tiffany & Co. reported higher revenue and net income.
Sales increased 3 percent to $959.7 million, while net income rose to $115 million from $105.7 million a year earlier. Earnings per sahre were 92 cents.
On average, analysts expected revenue of $930.3 million and earnings of 84 cents per share.
