Two Springfield companies and one Mount Vernon business are listed in Inc. magazine's 2011 Inc. 500. Seven companies in Missouri are in the list, while 66 companies in the state made the Inc. 5000 list.
The 2011 Inc. 500 and 5000 is ranked by percentage revenue growth 2007-2010. Qualifying companies had to generate 2007 revenue of at least $100,000 and 2010 revenue of at least $2 million, according to its
Web site.
Springfield-based Electronic Check Services and Intuitive Web Solutions cracked the 500 list, with rankings of 69 and 288, respectively. Red Monkey Foods, of Mount Vernon, came in at No. 465.
ECS recorded revenues of $81.2 million in 2010, resulting in three-year revenue growth of 3,188 percent. The company employs 13 people. ECS ranked No. 449 in the 2010 Inc. 500.
With $2.4 million in 2010 revenue, the 27-employee Intuitive Web Solutions recorded three-year revenue growth of 1,142 percent. IWS did not make the 2009 list.

Red Monkey Foods reported three year-revenue growth of 753 percent after pulling in $6.3 million revenues in 2010. The company has 42 employees. Red Monkey Foods wasn't listed on the 2010 Inc. 500.
On the Inc. 5000 list, Springfield-based JMark Business Solutions ranked No. 1,397 with 2010 revenue of $5.8 million and three-year revenue growth of 203 percent; Ozark-based Healthcarefirst ranked No. 1,425 with 2010 revenue of $13.4 million and three-year revenue growth of 197 percent; and Battlefield-based Russell Cellular ranked No. 1,634 with 2010 revenues of $53.7 million and three-year revenue growth of 166 percent;
