Simply put, he’s a multitasker.
After a stint in the U.S. Navy, Douglas began working at JMark Systems in 1997 as a technician. By 2001, Douglas was president of the company, which he bought that same year. He changed the company’s name to Jmark Business Solutions Inc. The company provides computer and networking products and services.
He’s also a partner in Shell Title Co., D-3 Communications, ETG Communications, Court By Phone and a small property management company.
And he’s not slowing down, with plans to continue “growing our current business model to multiple locations and expanding into other business ventures.”
With constant support and advice from family – wife, Michele, and Douglas’ parents and brother – Douglas believes he can continue his success.
“Growing up, my parents pushed me to work harder and stay focused when I was tempted to take an easier route,” Douglas said.
“My parents and my brother supported my decisions even when they were difficult to understand. Now that I own and run a business, they continue to help me and my wife helps and supports me in making the right decisions for the business.”
But business accomplishments aside, Douglas’ greatest honor is the family who welcomes him home.
“My marriage to my wife, Michele, and my three children, Kaitlyn, Ali and Tyler, are my greatest accomplishments,” he said. “While we all work hard to succeed and earn the almighty dollar, at the end of the day it is what we go home to that is the most important.”
