Theater attendance solid in second quarter

A total of 51,312 patrons visited entertainment venues during the Springfield Theatre Alliance's second quarter.

The quarter, ended June 30, was relatively flat compared to first-quarter attendance results of 55,410, according to a news release from the alliance.

Member theaters meet the first Wednesday of every month. They are:
  • Springfield Contemporary Theatre at The Vandivort Center;
  • Juanita K. Hammons Hall for the Performing Arts;
  • Springfield Little Theatre at the Landers;
  • Drury University Theatre;
  • The Springfield Playhouse;
  • LuMaxx Productions;
  • Missouri State University Theatre and Dance;
  • Tent Theatre;
  • SRO Lyric Theatre;
  • The Skinny Improv;
  • Gillioz Theatre; and
  • George Cron Class Act Productions.
