The Waterford Cooperative – Bella Vista, Ark.

Posted online
Lohmeyer Russell Architecture is the architect for Senior Living Concepts’ The Waterford Cooperative at Highland’s Crossing in Bella Vista, Ark. Flintco is the general contractor through its Arkansas office. Mettemeyer Engineering is the structural and civil engineer, and Colvin Jones Davis is the mechanical, electrical and plumbing engineer. An interior designer has not been selected. The 60-unit retirementliving community is part of Highland’s Crossing, a planned development. The residential development has an estimated cost of $12 million. Entry to the development leads through a residential corridor much like a row house block and culminates at the civic center plaza, which houses a fitness center, indoor swimming pool, dining hall and café. The Waterford Cooperative is a three-story, 110,000-square-foot facility that is designed to foster community living and give residents as much personal ownership as possible, with private front porches and distinct façades. Residents will have access to eight 18-hole golf courses, four country clubs, 12 tennis courts, an indoor pool, racquetball courts, nature trails and several recreational fishing lakes. The project is scheduled for completion in late 2007.
