CNN tallied up a cost estimate for Vice President Mike Pence to travel to Indianapolis to watch - and then abruptly leave - an NFL game Sunday.
Flying the Air Force 2 for one hour costs $30,000. He went from Las Vegas to Indianapolis on Saturday, which cost about $100,000. He then flew to Los Angeles on Sunday, which took about four hours and 45 minutes, costing about $142,500.
The grand total is $242,500. That doesn't include estimated costs for security.
Pence exited Sunday's game between the Indianapolis Colts and San Francisco 49ers after some players knelt during the National Anthem.
