The next big tech IPOs

As the hype over Twitter’s IPO fades, analysts are turning to the next crop of tech companies making their way down the pipeline. And according to industry experts, the number of mature private companies ready to go public is at an all-time high.

Al Jazeera's Real Money looks at five companies that could take the leap in late 2013 or 2014:
  • Seamless, a consumer app and website allowing customers to order from local restaurant online, which has an expected 2013 revenue of $200 million;
  • Square, a mobile payment company based in St. Louis with a value of $3.5 billion as of September 2012;
  • Box, a cloud storage company valued at $1.5 billion;
  • Palantir, a software and services company with a value of $8 billion; and
  • King, the largest game developer on Facebook, valued at roughly $5 billion.
