Springfield Business Journal’s sister publication, Joplin Tri-State Business, held its first Most Influential Women luncheon Oct. 19 in front of about 225 attendees at the Holiday Inn in Joplin.

Ten women were honored, including, from left, Doris Carlin, a Keller Williams Realtor; Paula Baker, CEO of Freeman Health System’s Ozark Center; Nancy Good, president of The Title Place; Kim Vann, business development director for Joplin Area Chamber of Commerce; Debbie Linnes, president and CEO of St. John’s Regional Medical Center; Crystal Harrington, executive officer of the Home Builders Association of Southwest Missouri; Glenna Wallace, chief of the Eastern Shawnee Tribe of Oklahoma; and Michelle Ducre, executive director of the Community Clinic of Joplin. Also honored but not pictured were Kathleen Flannery, director of continuing and graduate studies at Pittsburg State University, and Cynthia Schwab, founder and executive director of Pro Musica.
