The highest-paid Missouri government employees in 2014

St. Louis Business Journal research found all of the top 25 highest-paid Missouri government employees in 2014 worked for the Department of Mental Health.

Sekhar Vangala, staff physician specialist, was the highest-paid state employee with 2014 gross pay of $397,965. Stacy Neff, also a staff physician specialist, was the second highest paid employee in the Department of Mental Health with a 2014 salary of $340,850.

Gov. Jay Nixon earned $133,821 last year. Missouri Lt. Gov. Peter Kinder brought in $86,484. Another notable was Attorney General Chris Koster, who earned $116,437.
