Posted online
As travel and trade relations between the United States and Cuba continue to improve, American poultry producers are targeting the island nation as a growth market.

Major stateside agricultural producers are confident the repeal of some remaining restrictions – such as a rule that U.S. lenders can’t finance Cuban companies – will increase not only poultry exports, but also revive dormant orders for U.S. rice, wheat and corn currently supplanted by growers in Asia, Europe, South America and Canada.
