Project description: The mixed-use development known as The Crescent Apartments will have nearly 8,000 square feet of retail space on the ground floor, and plans call for the rest of the 174,000-square-foot structure to contain 145 apartments in studio, one-bedroom and two-bedroom layouts, some featuring work/office space to accommodate remote workers. Amenities planned include a rooftop terrace and fitness center, social areas with an internet cafe and community kitchen and tranquility lounge. The project architect is H Design Group LLC, and engineers are Own Inc., civil; Mettemeyer Engineering LLC, structural; and CJD Engineering LLC, mechanical, electrical and plumbing.
A City Utilities employee since 2017 with a 25-year legal background, he now leads the municipal utility provider with an $895 million annual budget.
