The Apple Watch will flop. Here's why

Selling 3 million new products isn't too shabby if you're anyone other than Apple. But the 3-million figure is the minimum Apple needs to move just to break even on its shrug-inducing new Watch, according to CNNMoney.
 
At a time when iPhone sales carry the company, Apple needs something new to take the pressure off the iPhone. But even Apple isn't expecting the Watch to be its next big thing: Predicted Watch sales of $1 billion are only enough to get it listed on Apple's "other" section on its sales report.
 
According to the report, the Watch is one bad Apple for reasons including its $350 price tag, consumers' reluctance to embrace wearable technology, poor battery performance and that critics consider it inconvenient to use and rather ugly.
