Texas Gov. Greg Abbott has banned mandatory vaccinations in the state.
His executive order prohibits all organizations, including private companies, from enforcing COVID-19 vaccinations.
"The COVID-19 vaccine is safe, effective and our best defense against the virus, but should remain voluntary and never forced," Abbott said in a statement.
