Shipley Do-Nuts is coming to Missouri early next year, according to a news release from the business.
The Houston-based donut brand will open in Branson at 2715 W. 76 Country Blvd. Shipley sells over 60 varieties of donuts, including plain glazed, filled, cake donuts, bear claws and kolaches, as well as coffee.
The shop will be operated by current Shipley franchisee Vanthuary Chum, according to the release. Chum has operated the chain’s location in Harrison, Arkansas, since 2011.
Shipley has expanded into two new states within the year, opening locations in North Carolina and Virginia. It is also scheduled to open a location in New Mexico this year. Shipley targeted the Springfield area in 2023 when it first started looking to expand into the Midwest, according to past reporting.
“It’s inspiring to see longtime franchisees who truly know and love the brand deepen their commitment to Shipley and grow with us,” said Shipley Vice President of Franchise Recruitment Jonathan Massey in the release. “We look forward to introducing Shipley Do-Nuts to Branson residents and visitors as we continue to expand in Missouri and nationally.”
Shipley said it is actively recruiting franchisees to open locations elsewhere in Missouri, including Kansas City, St. Louis, Springfield and Columbia.
