Tesla Inc.’s Elon Musk agreed to build the world's largest lithium-ion battery system in Australia.
Musk pledged to complete the project within 100 days of signing an agreement - or it will be free.
The 100-megawatt storage system is intended to help the state of South Australia deal with a series of blackouts over the past year.
