Tesla filed suit against a former employee for allegedly stealing gigabytes of confidential data.
The suit claims former process technician Martin Tripp "has thus far admitted to writing software that hacked Tesla's manufacturing operating system and to transferring several gigabytes of Tesla data to outside entities."
Tripp, however, claims he's being targeted for being a whistleblower.
