Tesla struggling to get cars to customers

While Tesla is building cars at a faster pace, it's having problems delivering them to customers.

In the second quarter, 78 percent of the 18,345 electric cars built made their way to customers.

At the end of the quarter, 5,150 cars were in transit, roughly twice as much as at the end of the first quarter.
