Tesla selling twice as many cars as it was in 2015

Tesla is on a roll.

According to performance numbers released by the company yesterday, the electric car company delivered 24,500 vehicles last quarter, up from 11,603 a year earlier.

Leading the charge in the latest quarter, Tesla delivered 8,700 Model X SUVs.
