Tesla rolling out custom insurance plans

Tesla is gearing up to offer customized car insurance plans tailored to its vehicles.

Dubbed InsureMyTesla, the program will start in Australia and Hong Kong and expand to other markets. Tesla is partnering with insurers AXA General and QBE Insurance to offer the plans to vehicle owners in Hong Kong and Australia, respectively.

In other Tesla news, last week a Show-Me State judge ruled in favor of the Missouri Automobile Dealers Association in its suit against the state Department of Revenue.

The ruling effectively means Missouri cannot issue Tesla a dealer’s license, according to the St. Louis Business Journal.
