Tesla CEO Elon Musk confirmed the company defied local government orders involving the coronavirus in restarting operations at a Bay Area factory in California.
"Tesla is restarting production today against Alameda County rules. I will be on the line with everyone else. If anyone is arrested, I ask that it only be me," Musk tweeted yesterday.
The Fremont plant has been closed since March 23.
