Tesla reported quarterly earnings that were below expectations by analysts.
The electric vehicle maker's earnings per share in the fourth quarter came to 80 cents. Analysts were looking for $1.03 per share.
Revenue, however, beat expectations. The company posted $10.7 billion, ahead of the $10.4 billion expected.
