Tesla Inc. is scheduled to deliver the new electric Model 3 compact car to its first 30 purchasers tonight.
The company’s been quiet on specifics, but here’s a little of what to expect, says the Associated Press:
Price: $35,000 – about half the cost of previous Tesla models.
Size: Similar to Audi A4 or the BMW 3 Series.
Range: 215 miles on a charge.
Features: Autopilot hardware, but some features of the self-driving system require additional pay, such as automatic lane-changing.
Tesla hasn't said how many reservations it has for the car.
